Words of Wisdom Christian Academy

History

The WORDS OF WISDOM CHRISTIAN ACADEMY was established in the year 2002 as a non-stock, non-profit institution. It started operating in 2004 and provided pre-school and grade school at first. Now, it offers complete pre-school, complete elementary education, complete secondary education, including senior high school.

Within the decade, WOWCA has been operating with a “fully recognized” status in all levels. It has also been “certified” in 2012 and “recertified” in 2017 by the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC) as a school that “continues to show capacity to uphold the educational standards set by the Department of Education”.

The school was founded by Ptr. Robert L. Bhojwani and his wife Ptra. Editha L. Bhojwani together with other members of the Board of Trustees in 2002. The phrase, “words of wisdom”, was taken from Isaiah 50:4 (NLT), which means “gospel” or “good news”. The “open Bible” in the logo means the school is active in evangelism. The Trinity symbol in the logo stands for its Trinitarian faith, meaning it believes in One God in the persons of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. The number “2002” at the bottom of the logo refers to its year of incorporation.
